Art of illusion is a nifty little 3d software built on Java. It's under 6 MB in size but packs a serious punch. Boy, It gets my goat that software like Inkscape is taking so bloody long to get into the toolbox of pro illustrators. Inkscape is so freakin fast and intuitive to use that you wonder if the people you evangelize it to so often are either blind or just not amazed enough. It happens when you use closed source for free for so long, that the value of a superb (actually free) tool just escapes
